Even the most laid back Vespisti would need to have lived in a cave for the past two weeks to avoid talk of the iconic marque’s 80th birthday. It’s an anniversary that Piaggio is all too keen to celebrate and if you want to join in the celebrations there’s no better way to mark this milestone than with one of the special edition GTS or Primavera models.
Green is for go
To celebrate this unique milestone, Vespa pays tribute to its heritage with a dedicated 80th anniversary livery, available on Vespa Primavera and Vespa GTS. The pastel green shade is inspired by the scheme carried on the very earliest machines, whilst the anniversary lozenge is to be found on both the special edition scooters and a comprehensive range of merchandise.
These special editions will be available as a 125 in the Primavera range and as the 310 GTS. In addition to the anniversary logo, both models have many unique features. These include stain chrome highlights, colour coordinated mirrors and detail components together with wheels and seats that are unique to the special editions.
We’ve been around since 1958, just 10 years less than Vespa and in our experience every special edition has been in high demand. We don't yet have these listed on our website as we’re not certain as to how many of these machines will arrive in our showroom.
